	And again, I only get a black screen with no possibility to switch to console. That's with an ATI HD3870, is there a 'cheatcode' I can enter at boot to get a vesa driver or s/th similar? (Reply to this) (Thread)

	Nope, didn't help, none of it, screen stays black. If I additionally omit "quiet" and "rhgb", last thing I see is cups starting, but that's it. It works fine on the laptop with Intel graphics, but on that machine I have no use for it. Oh well, I'll try a text installer. Thanks anyway for your work! (Reply to this) (Parent)
